The Linntett is a jazz sextet with unusual instrumentation. The band introduces the listener to the tonal possibilities of a rhythm section paired with the concentrated power of three saxophones. Kira Linn, baritone saxophonist and bandleader of the sextet, has always been fascinated by the visual arts. That's why she made it her mission to translate images of nature into compositions. In doing so, she was less inspired by the obvious motifs of the pictures and more by the mood and the feeling that was triggered in her when she looked at them. Six pictures, six compositions come together to form a suite: "Nature".
